Hanging for a Honeymoon

Honeymoon Island

When all your meticulous planning for your big day is done, it’s time for the honeymoon! There’s no better way to relax after such a stressful time.

Did you know that the average cost of honeymoons by Australian couples is $7,700?!! This is where wishing wells, birdcages and honeymoon contributions come into play – they really are a wedding must have. 90% of couples are taking a honeymoon after their wedding for an average of 15 days.

The most popular overseas destinations are:
– Europe
– USA/Hawaii
– Thailand
– Bali
– Fiji and
– Japan

Many moons ago, my husband and I decided on Queensland as our destination. I’ve always thought ‘your holiday is always what you make it’.
If you are thinking of splashing out on your vacation, here is an informative article I found on Expedia about Best Honey Moon Destinations.

Not just weddings

Did you know we create invitations for all sorts of occasions?

We loving hearing from those customers who want something a little bit different because we’re not just about weddings. Whether it’s a milestone birthday party, graduation or baby shower, we can custom design something for you.

You can choose to alter one of our designs – maybe you would like a different colour or style of ribbon, paper or embellishment. If you would like something completely different, that’s ok too. We can recreate most designs of paper craft invitations or offer you something very similar. We don’t copy designs outright but can offer our take on it.

Don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss the right design for you.

Celebration Time

Congratulations to the LGBTQI Community

Finally the day has come that same sex couples can openly declare their love for each other in front of family and friends. Marriages are already taking place, even minutes into the day it became legal.

OUR DIVINE INSPIRATION RANGE

As we have been helping all couples for years on end in supplying invitations and stationery either with our DIY option “Print & Cut” or fully assembled invitations and stationery. We welcome the LGBTQI community and would like to invite you to have look at our friendly and “jam packed” website with many theme-based lines to choose from. It also contains a shop so you can order and pay online at your convenience. Our in-house designers will work with you to get the perfect invitation for your special day.
We are now based in Mudgee, a beautiful and popular region for wedding occasions. So have a browse and we hope to cross paths soon.

Something Fabulous V’s DIY Wedding Invitations

How many times have you thought ‘I can do that myself for so much cheaper’, sometimes without even looking into the cost? I’m guilty…
so is one of my family members who mentioned that she was going to do her friends wedding invitations for her to save some money!!

Well this got us intrigued as to how much money she
thought she was going to save. So we did some research
and you will be surprised at what we found.

We went to our local craft store and hunted for supplies for one of our most popular invitations, Coastal Chic DL Invitation. Here’s what we found based on 50 invitations:

A4 Shimmer Card – 2 packs $21.98
Pebble Paper (online) – $9.00
10mm Satin Ribbon – $9.03
Starfish (online) – $9.00
DL Envelopes – 5 packs $44.95
Total – $174.96

To sum up our shopping trip in one word – Frustrating! It took professional stationers 20 minutes just to find cardstock at the end of an aisle, and to decipher the prices on the ribbon chart was a nightmare. Plus some of the items were not available in-store so we had to search online.

If you went shopping on our website you would have added 50 Coastal Chic DL Invitations to your shopping cart and paid a 50% deposit. We would require you to send us your guest list in Excel format, font choice and wording for your invitation (which we will provide and have plenty of suggestions to show you). Then the best part… we take care of the rest!! All this for $197.50. This means that you are only paying approximately $22.50 for supreme quality products, personalised printing, oh – and a lot less stress.

Needless to say, we are doing to the friends invitations now, because my family member realised the time and cost involved.

Here’s a sneaky peek 🙂

Fabulous Foil

Minc foil colours

Have you seen our fabulous new foil place cards?

They come printed and foiled on your choice of high quality smooth crisp white or warm cream card and are cut, scored and ready for guest tables. The price includes merging of guest first names only to ensure the lettering is large enough for the foil to be applied to.

There are 10 foil colours to choose from including holographic! We stock silver, gold, rose gold or let us know your colour theme and we will try to match it.

When using the heat foil transfer process it is common for small black pin dot areas to be left after foil has been applied. This is a characteristic of the foil, no two foil transfers are the same.

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your families and that 2015 will bring you good health and prosperity in every which way.

Our year has been fantastic and very busy. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support throughout 2014.

The Brides & Grooms have given us lots of positive feed back about the Invitations, Place Cards, Menus etc, they received.

We are stoked about that because ultimately that is where we strive for. We are aiming to go even better in 2015.

They have entrusted us with their stationery, and like all the other arrangements they have made, they want it to be perfect leading up to the big day!

We are looking forward to another year of happy Brides & Grooms!

Please keep a look out for more inspiration and new ideas in this blog throughout the new year.

Even better come and say “hello” at one of the Bridal Expos coming up soon on the Central Coast.

See first hand how beautiful our invitations are put together. We will be there to give you advice and help you along in starting the invitation process.

I will let you know where they are as the dates draw closer.

Meanwhile, have a great and safe celebration from Old to New and we’ll see you next year!
